The Celtics added Gordon Hayward to the list of inactive players on Monday.
He’s not hurt, though. Hayward missed practice due to illness, which popped up on Saturday and proceeded to get worse. He will be re-evaluated prior to Tuesday’s practice.
Tacko Fall was also out on Monday. He has entered the concussion protocol.
Brad Stevens had previously disclosed Fall was hit in the head after individual work on Friday. He wouldn’t explain much more about what happened, other than “it was kind of a freak thing.”
Robert Williams still wasn’t a full participant at Monday’s practice, but he did all of the non-contact work.
“(I’m) assuming that went well. Then he’ll be cleared for contact tomorrow,” Stevens said. “We won’t do much contact as a team, so it’ll be more 1-on-1, 2-on-2 type stuff. And then if he clears that, he’ll be cleared for Wednesday.”
Romeo Langford did “some of” the non-contact work. On Friday, Stevens set Monday as the target date for Langford to be a full participant at practice.
