It took a little while for Romeo Langford to get going in his return to game action on Sunday. But the 2019 draft pick found his groove as he was more frequently in possession later in the Red Claws’ matchup with the Long Island Nets.
Unfortunately for Langford, his day was, once again, cut short.

On a drive in the fourth quarter, the Celtics rookie appeared to tweak his right ankle, though there has been no word from the team on the official diagnosis. He was carried off by a pair of teammates so he wouldn’t put pressure on his foot.

Langford has already dealt with multiple injuries to start his Celtics career. His previous injury also pertained to his right ankle, which forced Langford to leave Maine’s November 15 game early and kept him on the sideline until his return on Sunday.
Langford finished with 14 points on 7-for-11 shooting. He also had three rebounds in his 17 minutes of action.
