NBA Rookie of the Year odds: Jayson Tatum passes Markelle Fultz in best odds to win award
Celtics rookie Jayson Tatum, who was drafted third overall, has better odds of winning NBA Rookie of the Year than Sixers top pick Markelle Fultz.
This according to sports gambling website Bovada.com, which released its latest odds on Tuesday.

Tatum’s odds jumped from 9/1 on June 23 to 5/1 on Tuesday, while Fultz did a complete opposite, falling from 5/1 to 9/1.
Lakers second overall pick Lonzo ball led the list with 5/2 odds, which remained the same in both odds, followed by Mavericks ninth overall pick Dennis Smith, who went from 16/1 odds on June 23 to 3/1 odds on Tuesday. Ben Simmons, the Sixers top pick in 2016, who was sidelined the entire year with an injury, was third with 7/2 odds.
