When it comes to offseason injury reports, so far it’s been good news for the Celtics.
After Gordon Hayward’s recent update, showing the forward putting his injured ankle to the test, Kyrie Irving has weighed in with some positive news.
The guard, who is coming off of knee surgery, passed on the good news to basketball insider Jeff Goodman:
“Kyrie Irving just told me he hasn’t played 5-on-5 full contact yet, but worked out this morning with his trainer and expects to be 100 percent for the start of training camp.” – @Goodmanhoops.
Both Danny Ainge and Brad Stevens have suggested Irving is on schedule to participate in full-scale 5-on-5 workouts sometime in August.
