Kyrie Irving has reportedly ended his working relationship with agent Jeff Wechsler of 24/7 Sports Management, who also represents Jayson Tatum. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski had the information on Wednesday, which was soon followed by the news of who will represent Irving going forward: ROC Nation Sports.

As in, Jay-Z’s ROC Nation, the same group that represents Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant. With Durant’s immediate future in question after he tore his Achilles, which was surgically repaired on Wednesday, Irving may be more inclined to suit up for the Nets than the Knicks.
When it comes to how this will impact Irving possibly returning to the Celtics, well, this may be what confirms he is leaving town. Jay-Z may not be a Nets part-owner anymore, but he’s about as Brooklyn as it gets.
