Kyrie Irving calls out Zaza Pachulia after Russell Westbrook incident

Kyrie Irving took over Madison Square Garden Saturday and led the Celtics with 31 points in their win over the Knicks. But his postgame social media antics were nearly as noteworthy.

Warriors forward Zaza Pachulia fell on Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook’s legs Saturday, prompting many to once again accuse the veteran big man of playing dirty on the court. Irving, who commented on a photo of the play on Instagram, left little doubt about where he stands.

The league has to take a look at this man, that s*** is ridiculous!,” he wrote.

Last year, Pachulia was criticized for appearing to target Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard’s ankles in a postseason game. In 2008, Pachulia also agitated Kevin Garnett during a playoff series.

Westbrook, for his part, also called out Pachulia Saturday. When asked if Pachulia is a dirty player, he could not have been more blunt.

“Yes, for sure,” Westbrook said.
