Isaiah Thomas doesn’t appear to have any love lost for Cleveland.
In an Instagram story Saturday, the point guard reflected fondly on his experiences with all of his NBA teams –– except his brief time as a member of the Cavaliers. “SAC, LA and Boston was all love. Phoenix was cool,” Thomas said. “Cleveland was a s***hole. I see why LeBron left. Again.”

Thomas walked back his comments on Twitter Saturday night. “I apologize for my choice of words about Cleveland. I was on my live playing around,” he wrote. “They don’t show you everything for a reason smh. Right after that I clarified what I said…. All love to everybody who had love for me in Cleveland.”
Thomas only played in 15 games for the Cavaliers last season, missing the first two months of the campaign to recover from hip surgery. Cleveland shipped him to the Lakers at the trade deadline in February, where he averaged 15.6 points per game off the bench.
The 5-foot-8 point guard, who once asked the Celtics to “bring the Brinks truck” to re-sign him, inked a one-year contract with the Nuggets this summer for the veteran’s minimum.
