Isaiah Thomas offers first hint of feelings after being traded to Cavs
It has been a few days since Isaiah Thomas was traded to the Cavs and he hasn’t spoken at all, either in person or on social media, following the blockbuster deal which sent him to Cleveland and Kyrie Irving to the Celtics.
He did however indirectly offer his thoughts on the deal via Instagram Thursday night.
Caron Butler posted a picture to his Instagram Thursday. The photo read: “Celtics traded a guy who played in a game for them a day after his sister died, but y’all expect players to be loyal to the franchise, sure.” The caption below the photo read: “I got traded before. It was painful. Players leave for different team, they’re disloyal!!! A Judas!! Teams trade a player who gave his heart and soul to the city and team, its called business. Hmmm. Does that make sense.”
Thomas snuck into the comments with the “100 percent” emoji. While it is just an emoji, it’s the first sign of how he feels about the deal.
Also, Ray Allen responded with an Instrgram post of his own replying to Butler’s, reading: “But since the team does it I guess it’s just business. Smh!! It is just a business so when the teams do it there should be no difference when the players do it! Remember that!! @caronbutler thanks for the post my brother #facts stay strong @isaiahthomas.”
