Although the Celtics’ season ended last Thursday, ties to the organization still exist among the two teams in the NBA finals — the Warriors and Cavaliers.

Warriors

Ron Adams: Former Celtics assistant coach in 2013-14.

Kevin Durant: In 2016 during free agency, he met with the Celtics and Tom Brady.

Stephen Curry: Had his bachelor party at Fenway Park in 2011.

David West: Almost signed with the Celtics in 2011.

Ian Clark: Was a 2013 draft prospect and worked out with the Celtics.

Draymond Green: Called Kelly Olynyk a dirty player during the 2017 Washington playoff series.

Damian Jones: Top prospect in the 2016 draft and went through a workout with the Celtics.

JaVale McGee: In 2015, he almost signed a two-year contract with the team. He even posted a four-leaf clover on his Twitter, but the contract fell apart.

David West: In 2012, as an unrestricted free agent he chose the Pacers’ two-year, $20 million deal over a three-year, $29 million contract with the Celtics.

Cavaliers

Tyronn Lue: Former Celtics assistant from 2009-13.

James Posey: Former Celtics player who was part of the 2008 NBA championship team.

Mike Longabardi: Former Celtics assistant from 2007-13.

Kevin Love: Was courted by the Celtics and was spotted at Fenway park with Rajon Rondo in 2014.

Kay Felder: Publicly said in 2016 he was inspired by Isaiah Thomas.

Richard Jefferson: In 2017, he dunked on Terry Rozier, who then threw the ball at him and got a technical foul.

Dahntay Jones: No. 20 overall pick by Celtics in the 2003 NBA Draft.

JR Smith: In Game 2 of 2017 Eastern Conference finals against the Celtics, Smith acted out sweeping the floor of the TD Garden to insinuate they would sweep the Celtics.
