Gordon Hayward continues to tease his return.
The Celtics forward published another video Monday tracking his rehab. The first video, which featured Hayward doing shooting drills, was released earlier this month.
In the latest 35-second film, Hayward is picking up small balls with his toes, and then dropping them into a bucket on the side. His trainers tell him he did it faster than the previous time.

Despite Hayward’s apparent optimism, the Celtics continue to poo-poo the idea of him coming back from the fractured ankle he suffered on opening night. On March 3, head coach Brad Stevens said Hayward is “not playing this season.”
It’s difficult to get more adamant than that.
The Celtics did receive some relatively positive news on the injury front last weekend weekend from a player who they do expect back. The team announced Kyrie Irving would be out 3-6 weeks following a minor ankle procedure, which means he could return for the first-round of the playoffs.
Jaylen Brown played in his first game Sunday against the Kings since suffering a concussion March 8.
