The feud between Glen “Big Baby” Davis and Doc and Austin Rivers is still going strong.
In an interview on NBA Insider Chris Broussard’s podcast in February, Davis called Doc Rivers “overrated” and said he was “lucky as hell” to win a championship with the Celtics in 2008. Austin Rivers, who played alongside Davis with the Clippers in 2015, defended his father’s honor Wednesday on FS1’s “Undisputed.”
“It makes no sense to what he’s doing, and whatever he has between him and his pops – my pops said the jokes about his weight and stuff,” Rivers said. “It was hard – Let me ask you something: If someone is constantly out of shape, late, don’t remember plays, how the hell are you supposed to play him?”

Davis, who announced last November he’s putting his basketball career “on hold,” fired back at Austin Rivers in a rant he posted on Instagram. “Your father gave you your money. Don’t say s— to me,” he exclaimed. “You’re a f—— bum who’s been given the world. Shut up. Stay under your father.”

If Doc Rivers and Davis both appear at the 2008 Celtics championship reunion later this summer, things could get real awkward.
