Just before halftime of Friday’s game, Daniel Theis was forced to go to the locker room early after he sprained his left ankle. But he would return to start the second half.
Though it appears the state of Theis’ ankle has not improved since the 112-106 win over the Raptors. The Celtics have ruled him out for Saturday’s game against the Knicks.
Brad Stevens said on Friday Enes Kanter would not play against his old team this time around. That has been made official by the Celtics.
Romeo Langford will not make his Celtics regular season debut in New York. He still has a sore right knee.
