Celtics rookie class unveils ‘new’ Nike jerseys
With Nike taking over for Adidas as the NBA’s official outfitter this season, all 30 NBA teams are getting new jerseys.
There’s going to be four jerseys for each team, too. There’s your standard home and away, as well as two alternates, with teams able to wear whichever jersey they’d prefer any given gameday, so long as they coordinate with what they’re opponent is going to wear that night. Celtics fans got their first look at their ‘new’ jerseys on Friday, too, as rookie cards and team pictures featuring Jayson Tatum, Semi Ojeleye, and Ante Zizic showed off their new uniforms.

The biggest change with this jersey, of course, is the General Electric logo that will be featured on the left shoulder of the jersey. This is not a surprise, either, as the Celtics have long been noted as one of the 11 NBA teams that will feature advertisement patches on their jerseys this season.
The Celtics are expected to unveil their two alternate jerseys before the end of the summer.
