Grant Williams was the first of the Celtics 2019 draft picks to receive his 2K20 rating, and is now joined by Romeo Langford. The two were given the same exact rating – the only difference is Williams was pleased, and Langford doesn’t seem too thrilled.
The Celtics’ top draft pick posted his 2K card on Instagram, with the caption “GMMU” – commonly referred to as “Got Me Messed Up.”
Langford is tied for the lowest rating among the lottery picks with P.J. Washington and Cameron Johnson. Meanwhile Tyler Herro, who was drafted right before Langford, received a 73 rating. Zion Williamson leads all rookies with an 81 rating.
Williams and Langford both received 72’s, even though Langford was drafted 14th overall and Williams was selected 22nd overall. Celtics teammates Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum have also received their 2K ratings, earning 88 and 85, respectively. Like Langford, Tatum wasn’t pleased with his rating either.
Though, a big rookie year could allow Langford to elevate his rating quickly once the season begins.
