Celtics reportedly sign center Aron Baynes
The Celtics have added another former member of the Pistons to their roster.
After trading Avery Bradley for Marcus Morris on Friday, the Celtics have signed free agent center Aron Baynes, formerly of the Pistons, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical. The deal is reportedly for one year and $4.3 million.
Baynes, 30, has played five years in the league. The first three were with the Kings and the last two have been with the Pistons. Last season he averaged 4.9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in 15.5 minutes.
Some have speculated the Celtics could be interested in Marc Gasol, but this could impact those plans.
